Hairballs and Fireballs

My most recent piece, a picture of Ebony (from Fleetway comics) and Blaze... and it was for ME! so nice to be able to draw something just because I wanted to. Of course, now that I've finished it, it'll be back to project work, but ah well.

Those of you familiar with Ebony may have difficulty recognising her from this, but I wanted to give her a more, up-to-date look. Much to my dismay, when looking for references for her costume, I found out that fellow deviant umbra-rockchick had already had the same idea, and much as I've tried to make them look different, they do have their similarities... I hope she doesn't mind!

The swirls on her forehead/shoulder/legs are meant to be magic symbols that I thought would be cool if they showed up whenever she's using her powers. Or it could represent an element - for example she could be whipping up a tornado for a fire-tornado tag-team attack with Blaze - the swirl could represent wind, see?
